Utah’s National Parks

During this centennial year of our National Parks, numerous advertisements for the five parks in Utah – Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion – appear across multiple media sources. Possibly my favorite parks in the system, I recently coordinated a 10-day trip to the area. This was my fourth extended photographic visit to these parks over the past 10 years. In each case, I find myself re-visiting familiar locations hoping for different conditions and searching for previously unvisited photographic opportunities.

This post provides a favorite image from this trip for each of these five incredible National Parks. I’m also posting a National Park image per day on Instagram @chucklockettphoto for the remainder of the year to celebrate the National Parks 100-year anniversary.
